SENA Expand Bluetooth Duplex Headset
FREE SHIPPING on headsets!
These hands-free long-range Bluetooth headset intercoms make communication on-board super easy and convenient. Dubbed "Marriage Savers" by our customers, they are great for full-duplex communication with up to three other crew members. Makes anchoring or work up the mast a stress-free and quiet maneuver. No more hand signals, shouting or temper tantrums! Conversations, even in windy or noisy environments can be accomplished in a normal speaking voice.
Unlike other similar headsets, these have no wires, no belt packs, and no push-to-talk (PTT) button. They are true duplex, meaning you can talk and listen at the same time, so they work like a telephone rather than like a VHF or walkie talkie, which require an extra hand to push a transmit (PTT) button. These are totally hands-free, fit securely behind your neck, and have a range of up to 900 meters.
While these digital headsets from Sena use a Bluetooth protocol, Sena's secret sauce is in the long-range and low energy software and transceiver design. In addition to their excellent range and voice quality, the integrated USB-rechargeable lithium ion battery allows up to 10-hour of talk time, and 7-days of standby time.
Because they operate on Bluetooth 3.0, you can also pair them with your cell phone to receive calls, or listen to music. Using Sena's Ride Connected app, you can also communicate headset to headset with other boats, race committees, or shore based crews through your phone's wireless connection (with an available cell signal),
