Our bayonet Six-Gun Reader is designed to be a perfect LED replacement for single and double-contact bayonet reader bulbs used in bell-shaped bulkhead mounted reading lamps on board your boat or RV.
An evenly-cast 120° beam angle and warm white color temperature make this LED bulb comparable to a 10W halogen without any harsh spots. It is an excellent option for 1156, 1139, 1141, and 1142 bayonet base bulbs used in applications requiring directional output such has reading lamps or chart lights. Please check your base to confirm single or double contact before ordering with the guide provided on the previous page.
IMPORTANT: If you are trying to fit an "eyeball" or "vent-shaped" swivel fixture (with a single-contact bayonet bulb), like the types shown at right, then DO NOT CHOOSE THIS BULB. Instead choose the appropriate bulb by following this link to find the correct products.

BA-15S LED REPLACEMENT
Fit great and put out light. Not too harsh.
Shipping time was fast, install was a breeze, they all work and look good. Price was easy to accept. I'm pretty happy with this simple upgrade and expect it will really help battery time when cruising this summer
bright enough for reading on settee
I installed this little LED bulb in the bell-shaped reading light over one corner of the settee. It appears as bright as the original 10 watt incandescent bulb that it replaced but draws less than 0,1 amp. Color is a warm white similar to the incandescent bulb that it replaced. I now use Marinebeam LED bulbs in 6 of the 8 lights (including 4 dome lights and 2 reading lights) in my sailboat's salon, with the other two reading lights using Dr LED bulbs.
great replacement for old bulb
This bayonet-based light fit perfectly in the old fixture. Much more light and of course very little power. No problems
