Our bayonet Six-Gun Reader is designed to be a perfect LED replacement for single and double-contact bayonet reader bulbs used in bell-shaped bulkhead mounted reading lamps on board your boat or RV.
An evenly-cast 120° beam angle and warm white color temperature make this LED bulb comparable to a 10W halogen without any harsh spots. It is an excellent option for 1156, 1139, 1141, and 1142 bayonet base bulbs used in applications requiring directional output such has reading lamps or chart lights. Please check your base to confirm single or double contact before ordering with the guide provided on the previous page.

Ideal V-Berth light
BA-15-06 was perfect for the reading lights in our V-Berth. No VHF interference and fit our old bulkhead fixtures. BA-15-12X was too bright for this close application.

excellent, just what I needed
do the job. No fuss. Plenty of light when you need it, and the red function seems bright enough as well, though I haven't tried it during passage

Plenty bright.
Brighter than the 15W bulb it replaced with a uniform flood illumination pattern. Warm white color was natural looking. Price was good too. Assuming reliability is good, I don't think you can beat this deal.
