THE BRIGHTEST G4 IN THIS SIZE, PERIOD!
This bulb was developed in France, in conjunction with Euroindustry, specifically for the European OEM yacht industry. It was developed as drop-in replacement alternative to the expensive purpose-built LED fixtures, so that the builders could supply energy-efficient "LED-ready" yachts. This bulb is now found on production and custom yachts from builders throughout Europe. This bulb boasts superior output, warm white incandescent-like color, and excellent color rendering (85 CRI). Choose this bulb if you have 15W - 20W bulbs now. You may find it too bright for replacing 5W or 10W halogens without a dimmer.

SP-G4-12
Replaced my G-4 20 Watt halogen bulbs in all of the recessed light fixtures in the galley and salon on my 53' Hatteras. The LED lights are brighter without being a harsh light. Made a world of difference. Brighter, cooler and they draw a lot less energy. Highly recommended.

So far so good.
Fast delivery, bright in usage. Time will tell if it's a quality product.

super bulbs
We switched to these bulbs in several areas that required more brightness. There were halogens prior, and they worked great. Direct replace, and great light.

Finally! Good Cabin Light
The overhead cabin lights in our Island Packet 420 were inadequate with standard 10w halogen bulbs ...the largest size useable without overheating the lights. The Marine Beam G-4 provides great light, has a nice color, uses much less power and does not overheat the receptacle. Whatelse could you ask for on a sailboat...or anyother vessel for that matter. Plus, they do not flicker like many other LED bulbs.
