Our ultra-bright replacement LED tube for easily replacing your existing 12" DC (12V or 24V) fluorescent tubes inside your boat's existing fixtures.

This lamp outperforms the standard F8T5 8W tube and draws less than 0.350 Amps at 12VDC!

*Could also be used in any 120/220V AC application, but you must replace your ballast with one of our AC-DC LED Drivers.

Choose this bulb if you have an existing 12VDC or 24VDC fluorescent tube fixture which uses one or more 12"(30cm) fluorescent F8T5 tubes.  These bulbs feature our built-in Constant-Current chipset, so they will work on either 12VDC or 24VDC (10-30VDC range). 

Replaces all F8T5, Philips TL8W/29, and 90248 fluorescent tubes in Aqua Signal Series 15 Antibes and Malaga fixtures, as well as Thin-Lite Model 111, 112, 130, 192, 652, 732 and 742 fluorescent 12V boat or RV fixtures.  It also fits the Seachoice # 06411, 06421 fixtures.  In fact, this bulb replaces any 12" (11.75") x 5/8" T5 12V or 24V 8W tube.

If your fluorescent 12V or 24V ballast needs replacing, now is the time to upgrade to LED at about the same cost as a new ballast. No ballast required!

Available Output Colors:

• Natural White (Cool White) 6150°k color temp.
• Bright White (Neutral/Daylight White) 4100°k color temp
• Warm White (Soft White) 2950°k color temp
• Red (for maintaining night vision).

The Natural Daylight White F8T5 is brighter than the Bright White or Warm White, and looks exactly like a natural-white or daylight-white color fluorescent.  The Bright White is a mid-tone neutral color, that is slightly warmer than the Natural White, but slightly cooler than the Warm White.  All of our tubes are significantly brighter than their fluorescent counterparts.

The Red F8T5 LED fluorescent replacement tube is a 2.2W (0.18A) bulb which utilizes 18 5mm Red LEDs to provide the perfect intensity for preserving night vision. These bulbs are the perfect LED replacement for the Thin-Lite Model 180 and Model 190 dual (red/white) F8T5 fixtures.

Of course, performance and life-span with LEDs is all about thermal management and current control. These tubes features 66 high-efficacy surface-mount 3528 format LEDs, bonded to an engineered thermal-substrate, which conducts and dissipates heat directly to a high-surface-area fluted aluminum thermal heat-sink structure enveloping the emitter board. This, along with our non-resistive and highly-efficient converter-driver allows us to drive the LEDs at maximum power in the same form-factor as your original tube.  While they only draw 4.5W, they have more light output than an 8W fluorescent, and they last much longer, and don't attract insects like the UV-producing fluorescents do.

NOTE: These LED bulbs have our built-in constant-current driver already installed, but they do not require the high-voltage ballast that is in your current fluorescent fixture.  While the bulbs drop right into your fixture, your fixture will require a slight modification, which involves simply bypassing the fixture's existing ballast.  It is a simple modification requiring nothing more than a wire-cutter and 2 butt-connectors.
