Excellent value
Finally found a suitable light for a fair price for the salon for my 1977 Buddy Davis express.

Great looking and performing light
This light is very modern and sleek looking. It is incredibly bright but can be dimmed to the appropriate level for any activity. Our boat is much brighter and more attractive now. The LED puts out a very soft and pleasing color.

Great under counter light
Put this light in the head. Easy installation using existing wires from the 12 inch flouresent fixture. The light is much brighter than the old light. The dimming feature is great and the blue night light feature is fantastic. We liked it so much we bought a second one for the galley. The lights shipped right away and arrived in two days by postal service.

Bright light
If you want a lot of light, this is the light. I had strip LED's but they looked sort of "Ghetto", My kids called them Limo lights, they worked, but looked cheap. I have a classic boat full of beautiful dark teak, it's gorgeous, but hard to brighten the Salon. These panel lights are if anything too bright, but dim nicely. Best use is really lighting up the dining area at night if you want to really see what your eating, but can dim down if you rather it be Romantic. Downside is at full brightness, they really pull the power, Physics is like that, no free lunch, however dim them and light output seems to drop by half, but apparent power drain by a factor of ten and dim is where you want them most of the time anyway.
