This G4 LED bulb continues to be one of our best sellers because it fits most boat and RV G4 halogen fixtures, and is one of the brightest G4 LED replacements that we produce. Its 10 LED design spreads the LED emitters over a wider area, giving the bulb a pleasant tone, with a less dazzling appearance than some LED bulbs.
The bulb features a proprietary Constant-Current driver and high-output thermally-efficient multi-emitter SMD LED bonded to an Alumicore substrate. These features combine to give record setting output, superior efficacy (lumens/watt), and the longest service life in a replacement G4 form factor.
The output of this bulb significantly exceeds that of a 10W halogen, and fits most fixtures, even the small puck lights and recessed fixtures used on most modern boats.
Features:
- 10 high-efficacy LED chips (low power, but super-bright)
- Thermally efficient PCB design for longer LED life
- Dimmable
- No radio interference - CE EMC Approved
- High color rendering index (>85) in Warm White option
- Polymeric PTC re-settable thermal foldback fuse - protects the LEDs from overtemperature by reducing the current
- Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) - protects the bulb from momentary high-voltage spikes due to load-dump events from inverters, static electricity, etc.
- Polarity ambidextrous design (no polarity required)
Now available in Warm White, Cool White , Red, and Blue for those wanting these options.

Excellent Upgrade
I will not miss the heat emitted from the halogens. The warm white light is easy on the eyes and the fixtures are cool to touch. Trimming the pins was required for our ceiling lights (Sea Ray) to get the LED puck into the light housing... use needle nose pliers to support the pins when trimming them. I trimmed mine to the length of the old G4 bulb.

So far, so good
Using these G-4 bulbs to replace another vender's which have started failing after only a couple of years. Would rate 5 stars if I knew they would last as long as we are led to believe LEDs should last. Time will tell.

Great light, low power!
I have replaced almost all of my overhead G4 10 and 20W bulb lights with these. The light color and brighness is great, the fixtures are cool (used to burn my hand) and the electrical consumption is very low.

LEDs Good Replacement for Incandescents in Cabin
These bright, inexpensive bulbs are an easy-to-install replacement for the incandescent bulbs. They may require some shortening of the prongs depending upon the fixture size and orientation. The prongs are delicate and careful installation is required so the prongs do not break. A pair of fine needle-nosed pliers is helpful. I got the "warm white" which provide abundant light for reading. As many as five lights can be on in the cabin with a power consumption of just one of my previous 10W bulbs.
