* High CRI bulbs use special phosphors which impart a full spectrum white light, which allows better color rendering of wood tones, food, etc. Our standard Warm White has a CRI of 80, which is very high for LED lighting. We also carry an optional 90 CRI, which we developed for a European yacht builder that wanted the highest CRI possible. CRI and color temperature are different measures, and a high CRI bulb, while rendering color of illuminated objects better, may appear cooler or have a pinkish hue when looking at the bulb itself.
