This G4 LED bulb continues to be one of our best sellers because it fits most boat and RV G4 halogen fixtures, and is one of the brightest G4 LED replacements that we produce. Its 10 LED design spreads the LED emitters over a wider area, giving the bulb a pleasant tone, with a less dazzling appearance than some LED bulbs.
The bulb features a proprietary Constant-Current driver and high-output thermally-efficient multi-emitter SMD LED bonded to an Alumicore substrate. These features combine to give record setting output, superior efficacy (lumens/watt), and the longest service life in a replacement G4 form factor.
The output of this bulb significantly exceeds that of a 10W halogen, and fits most fixtures, even the small puck lights and recessed fixtures used on most modern boats.

This LED is a great replacement for halogen G4 bulbs. It is bright and well built. I ordered 30 of them. They all worked and are exactly as described.

10-LED SIDE MOUNT BI-PIN G4 X-BEAM | 150 LUMENS
I purchased a motor home 10 years ago, and replaced most of the 10w Halogens with Marine Beam LEDs. The changing voltage in an RV as the batteries charge and discharge, is death to common LEDS. Marine Beam claimed that was not a problem for their bulbs, which has proven to be true. Most of those 10 year old bulbs are still doing their job. One failed after 8 years and another at about 9 years. As the remaining Halogens burned out I tried different LEDs form different companies. I bought two ten packs of for $16 each. Everyone of them began dimming and flickering after only a week,, and were dead in two weeks. I bought and installed new bulbs from Marine Beam. My motor home is now well illuminated, bright cool white in work areas, and warm white in relaxing areas. At any battery voltage, the lights seem to stay constant. There is no flickering. Marine Beam bulbs cost more, but you get so much more in quality and consistency. One of the 10 LED MB bulbs is slightly less expensive than the 10 pack i mentioned earlier, however all ten of those bulbs failed in 5 weeks.
