Product Description
Control your 12V windlass, bow-thruster, or remote spotlight wirelessly from anywhere on board with the remote control kit!
Now updated for easier installation
This fantastic and economical kit can control any make or model windlass or bow thruster (and many other devices with up to 4 modes, like pan-tilt cameras or spotlights).
This is a 4-channel unit, so it can also be used to control multiple devices on a single vessel. An example is to use the two up and down buttons for lifting and lowering the anchor, and using the right and left buttons for controlling the bow-thruster.
It is a straight forward kit that includes everything you need to add a remote control to your device(s).
It connects easily to a thruster or anchor windlass by wiring into the control wires that come from your current control panel or deck switches and go to the device's solenoid/relay(s).
The kit includes wiring instructions, the wireless receiver box, and two wireless remotes (one handheld and one mountable).
This device is built specifically for use on 12VDC boats, and features an automatic power-saving sleep mode which shuts off the power after 10 minutes to avoid depleting the batteries when not in use. It is simple to re-wake the device by pressing and holding the on-off switch for 3 seconds.

remote control
I haven't installed it but the product seems well made. The soldering of the antenna wire is very fragile, I will have to have it soldered. Can't wait to try it.

Ease of installation, function
Unit was easy to install into current control circuit of anchor windlass. I did not realize there is a second dash mounted wireless unit included. Instructions could be better layed out had to read several times to understand. Functions as expected. Only issue is it takes a few moments to stop after release of button. Just takes a few tries to get use to.
