Scheiber Shower Pump Relay with Delay

If your shower drain or shower pan won't drain completely, this control module (along with an optional float switch) will solve it.  

This is the Scheiber relay module which controls the shower drain and macerator pumps on many Jeanneau, Beneteau, and Lagoon boats (among others).  It is a clever device that has a built-in delay circuit to ensure that there is water present in the pump before the pump engages, and also to be sure the waste water continues to pump all the way out of the boat. It also feature a bypass switch should you wish to take command of the pump manually in case of float switch failure, drain cleaning, etc.   These features make it great as a replacement, or for boats that need a pump delay to assure that water drains more completely.

The 36.16112.00 module is a pump control for a shower drain pan with timed activation.  It consists of an electronic control unit and a float switch (sold as an optional accessory HERE).   If water comes into contact with the float switch for 3 seconds continuously, the drain pump is powered on.  When the water level is no longer in contact with the switch for more than 6 seconds, the pump is stopped.

This module can also be used to replace the notoriously unreliable Whale Gulper delay relay made by E-T-A and used on Lagoon cats.
