Don't confuse this 2,500 lumen rechargeable Marinebeam LED spotlight with the cheap plastic big box store flashlights that you might find at West Marine or Home Depot.  This high intensity spotlight uses the very best 3W LEDs from Osram, with a super-tough aluminum alloy housing, polycarbonate TIR lenses, and a beefy Nylon hand grip.  It includes a 3350mA quick-fit removable and rechargeable Lithium Ion battery cartridge, and quick charger, for easy and quick battery swaps or charging.

This super-compact design is like nothing else on the market thanks to its TIR lens technology.  TIR (total internal reflection) lenses don't require the deep depth and bulk of parabolic reflector designs, and they control the whole light beam much more effectively for a longer and much more efficient beam.  This means a tighter and more uniform beam that uses less energy to cover longer distances, without the halos and hot spots of traditional spot lamps. This is a very useful and usable beam pattern whether fishing, docking, spotting buoys, hunting, or search and rescue, etc.

This spotlight puts out 51,000 Peak Candela, which means it has an FL1 maximum distance rating of 450 meters!  Perfect for man-overboard situations, docking, or spotting buoys and crab pots at night.  Its potent 7.4V 3.4A removable Lithium ion battery can last up to 2.5 hours on a single 1.5 hour charge (dual voltage AC charger included).
