Product Description
This bulb uses the latest Tesla Chip-On-Board LED emitter, which blasts out 190 real-world lumens in a tiny G4 format bulb. It is fully waterproof using a special thermal silicone with super-high refractivity. This allows for a nearly perfect distribution of light (see Candela plot pic).
The main advantage of COB technology is that it allows for a bright and large LED emitter surface area without external heatsinks, which gives a fantastic color and a much less dazzling look than traditional LEDs. Our frosted silicone molding not only protects the bulb, but it also diffuses the light for a much more pleasant output.

Consistently pleasing and dimmable warm light
We converted to LED lights in 2012 and ended up with a hodgepodge of different hues, some warm but mostly cool white. Replacing them all with these bulbs has transformed the atmosphere in the boat. The galley is less harsh and more pleasant to work in. The staterooms are more inviting. The salon has a dimmer switch and quickly morphs from mood lighting for cocktails to all-round illumination that's great for playing games. Plus, buying a quantity means this product is both cheaper and way better than what I installed five years ago.

Simple Upgrade-Amazing Results
I have tried several different brands and styles of G-4 base LED replacement bulbs and these are hands down the best designed and most effective bulbs I have seen. Before replacing the six 10W halogen puck light bulbs in the galley, I measured a combined 5.7 amp current draw. The current draw dropped to a mere .7 amps, an 88% power reduction, after installation of these micro bulbs. Any concerns I had that the overall light output would be less than the halogen bulbs was put to rest as soon as the light switch was flipped. If anything, the illumination level has improved and is less harsh. An added bonus is the striking reduction in heat output. The light lens can be touched without burning your finger. While a bit pricey, my eventual goal is to replace every overhead light on our boat with these bulbs.

I replaced 9 existing G4 bulbs in reading lights and dome lights. Easy install, great light without any heat whatso ever. Great product, great customer service and great quality.
