Our 6 volt DC replacement miniature BA9S LED bulb fits Guest and ACR type lantern-battery powered anchor and mooring lights, as shown in the picture above. Its 360° coverage and great output make it a simple drop-in replacement.
This LED bulb brings new life to these obsolete Guest and ACR mooring lights by not only making them brighter than with the original incandescent bulb, but also extending the battery life substantially. It draws less than 70 milliamps.
This bulb features a BA9S 9mm single-contact bayonet base and (6) high-output SMD type LEDs positioned precisely to take advantage of your lamp's double fresnel lens. Satisfaction 100% guaranteed!
NOTE: These BA9S 6V bulbs follow the proper polarity convention, where the center contact is Positive (+), and the base shell is Negative (-). There have been rare occasions where the manufacturer of the Guest/ACR lamps did not respect proper polarity, and the wires coming from the photocell have been reversed. Should your bulb not illuminate in the dark, it is very likely that you have one of the rare lamps with reversed polarity. If this is the case, you can simple correct the polarity on the fixture by swapping the wires, or contact us for a custom bulb or additional assistance.

the bulbs did not work in the lamp!!
the bulbs worked when directly connected to 6 V current, but not in the lamp where the incandescent bulb worked well last week. Marinebeam edit: We've seen roughly 1 in 20 of these bulbs not work due to reverse polarity on the Guest Anchor Light. The bottom connection should be (+) while the casing is (-). You can check in advance to ensure that the bulb will work without rewiring the socket.

mast head anchor light spare
My mast head anchor light stopped to work few months ago, trying to replace the bulb but still not working. So right now I decided to take advantage of an old guest anchor light. For less of $20 ordered the lantern battery with terminal screws and this led bulb. Great fix!
