This 3W high-output bulb not only fits the Hella type anchor light fixtures, but also fits the swivel-type "eyeball" or "vent" type fixtures that are used in many cruisers and RV's, as well as the single swivel fixtures that are used in Catalina (and other) sailboats.
Most replacement LED bulbs won't fit these fixtures, because there is very little room in the fixture, and the reflector cannot be removed. We solved the problem with our 3W Eyeball bulb which uses a special slim bodied design that allows the bulb to fit without interference.
It is simple to install, and provides a much brighter light that the original incandescent. The bulb features 36 high-output 2835 format LEDs with a total output of 220 Lumens. The bulb is coated with a thermal silicone, making for an attractive and waterproof bulb.
Available in Single-Contact (BA15s) or Double-Contact (BA15d) base types. This bulb works great in other bayonet-base reading lights as well.

Tried in 36V (old Hat) system
had hopes these would work but three bulbs tried, three blew out in seconds. Staff Comment - Jeffrey, these bulbs are rated 10-30VDC and older 32V Hatteras systems actually run closer to 36VDC. We carry a "Hatteras Converter" which can be put in line to reduce the voltage down to 12VDC for compatibility with our 10-30VDC constant current bulbs.

Perfect Fit
These are the only LED replacements that will fit in my light fixtures. The light is very bright and a natural color. The salon of my boat looks much better than it did with the original incandescent bulbs.
