Product Description
This LED festoon bulb features 30 super-bright mini-SMD LEDs. It uses the latest technology, giving the highest output per watt. Used as an anchor light, it is substantially brighter than the 10W incandescent it replaces.
This is a drop-in replacement LED bulb that replaces 44mm Festoons in Aqua Signal Series 25 anchor lamps, and navigation lamps.
AQUA SIGNAL SERIES 25 uses a Cone-End festoon bulb. If you have a newer fixture (after Sept 2010) check your bulb first.
For Port / Starboard - we recommend our FS-44-12X bulb in red and green respectively for best results.
This bulb features our constant-current circuit, so it can be used in 12V or 24VDC applications.
Warm white will render better colors behind bi-colored (red/green) combination lenses than will cool white.
How to choose LED Output Color: If the Red and Green are separate fixtures, use Red behind Red and Green behind Green.

Aqua Signal Masthead light LED upgrade
It appears to be at least 2X brighter, maybe more. I didn't check the current consumption but it is stated to be less than 1/3 of the original bulb's 1-amp. And it should never need to be replaced, a great comfort knowing it won't quit when you need it most or necessitate climbing the mast to replace.
