If you are really looking for an ultra-bright LED replacement for a G4 halogen, you have found it.
At 250 lumens, this is our brightest side-pin G4 LED bulb with 21 high-efficacy surface-mount LEDs spread over a 45mm (1.8") diameter. The LEDs cover a wide area, which makes it a great choice for larger dome lights and other big fixtures which use G4 bulbs.
Features Marinebeam's integrated constant- current driver, thermal foldback fuse to avoid overheating, and transient voltage surge protection technology. Transients can occur with static discharge or during load-dump events on-board, such as shutting down an inverter suddenly with AC loads still operating.
Not recommended for small puck lights.

Very bright.
Replaced 10W halogens with these in cabin lights. Very bright, cool and lower power.

Great product, superb service
My wife and I are cruising sailors and managing battery power is the name of the game. We use LED whenever possible but my wife HATES the blue-ish color of most high output units. These have a wonderful incandescent cast that she likes and enough illumination to read a book at night. I inadvertently bought only one, contacted Marine Beam, and they added another unit to the box. Someone personally took the time to ensure that we got what we wanted. I call that great service! Thank you Marine Beam.

Great light intensity, great color of light
We are cruising sailors and are always looking for products that reduce our electrical demands. We've purchased a few LED bulbs in the past, West Marine's for example, that simply did not emit enough light to use for reading. Other bulbs produce a bluish light that my wife hates. These are the first bulbs that pass her test for color and mine for illumination. it's a great bulb. For our West Marine dome lights, I must bend the leads by 90° but using needle-nose pliers has always given good results. They're extremely efficient, produce a great light color "temperature" and enough light to actually read a book. If you check other suppliers, you'll be surprised by the very reasonable cost, too.

21 led G4 replacemet bulbs
I purchased a couple of these to replace the halogen bulbs in my overhead galley light fixtures; they are so much brighter than the original halogen bulbs. These led bulbs transformed my galley from dark shadowy place to very well lit room. The color of the leds is also a pleasing warm white similar to incandescent bulbs. I'm probably going to buy more of these.
