LED flood lights for boats and vehicles are hard to find, because most 12V and 24V DC LED lamps are made for high volume markets for off-road or highway use. If you do find an LED flood light, it is usually a single chip COB LED, center-mounted, within a pressed-metal reflector, and housed in a flimsy corrosion-prone sheet metal box (which was adapted from an indoor lighting fixture). This lamp works on 12VDC or 24VDC, and is perfect for large cockpits, passageways, and deck spaces on workboats, ferries, and commercial fishing craft. What makes this lamp special is that it has a 32 individual Lattice Power Silicon Substrate GaN LEDs, arrayed in groups of two in a 4 x 4 grid, over a 45 square inch area. Each pair of LEDs are fixed within 16 free-form reflectors. The result is a brilliant homogeneous beam with a wide coverage area, and 1300 lumens of crisp white light. Something that just can't be accomplished with single LED fixtures.
The 12"X 6"x 2.75" LED flood lamp is mounted on a super strong aluminum alloy pivot bracket, and comes with stainless steel A2 mounting hardware, as shown, as well as with a waterproof Deutsch connector plug to make wiring clean and simple. All wiring is tinned marine-grade wire.
