G4 LED Bulb Dual Color White/Blue "Switchable"

After two-years of development, we introduce our new dual color High-Intensity White & Blue Switchable side-pin G4 LED bulb.

This drop-in G4 bi-pin replacement features two modes from the same bulb! Designed for use by superyachts and powerboaters that wish have either a high-intensity white look, or a more subdued blue glow, without having to install seperate fixtures. This bulb can function as either a High-Intensity White (~6,500k) bulb, for lighting cockpits, passageways or the open spaces, or with a quick flick of your existing switch, it can morph into a brilliant Blue bulb for mood lighting or overall "cool" factor. No need for changing out fixtures or wiring. Can be switched individually, or in groups of fixtures wired to the same switch.

HOW IT WORKS: When initially switched on, its output comes from the 6 super-bright high intensity white LEDs. This provides serious LED output that is more than enought to match your current 10W halogens. This high-intensity white start-up mode is really handy for normal use of the fixture nightly for general illumination. It is your choice whether you want White or Blue, and the control is all done using your existing switches. If you choose to switch to the more subdued Blue light, just quickly flick your existing switch, and the bulbs immediately change to Blue.

Imagine being able to convert any light in your boat to a blue output with just a quick flick of the switch. No need for big double bulb fixtures, strip lights, or 3-way switches. This is all accomplished using a digital latching technique within the bulb's microprocessor electronics. The bulb senses each toggle of the switch and latches into the blue mode if the switch is toggled off-on within 3 seconds. To revert to White mode is a simple off and back on with a 3 second delay.
