This is our newest cluster which features 30 super bright mini-SMD LEDs. This is the latest technology, giving the highest output per watt. Used as an anchor light, it is substantially brighter than the 10W incandescent it replaces.
This is a drop-in replacement LED bulb that replaces 44mm Festoons in Aqua Signal Series 25 anchor lamps, and navigation lamps.
NOTICE: BEGINNING IN 2011, AQUA SIGNAL SERIES 25 is using a
Cone-End festoon
bulb. If you have a newer fixture, or are not sure which bulb your fixture takes, PLEASE DO NOT GUESS at the type, but rather check your bulb first.
This bulb features our constant-current circuit, so it can be used in 12V or 24VDC applications.
Warm white will render better colors behind bi-colored (red/green) combination lenses than will cool white.
If the Red and Green are separate fixtures, use Red behind Red and Green behind Green.

USCG CERTIFICATION:
The USCG and other maritime testing agencies currently do not certify replacement bulbs by themselves, LED or otherwise. Only luminaires (fixtures with bulbs) are certified against the Colreg requirements.
While our bulbs in standard fixtures are easily visible at distances exceeding 3nm, and are the brightest replacement LED bulbs available, their use in navigational fixtures is strictly the decision of the end-user.
