Say Goodbye Forever to Expired Flares

Say Goodbye Forever to Expired Flares

NEVER BUY FLARES AGAIN!

If you are like us, it seems that every time we turn around it is time to buy expensive flares again.  Worse yet, trying to find flares that haven't been on the shelf for awhile, or have looming expiration dates, is also tough.  Either way, if you are a responsible boater, you will need to replace them about every 3 years.

Did you also know that marine flares are horrible for the environment, and are toxic to fishes and marine life?  One flare, that last only a few minutes, can contaminate up to 240,000 gallons of water.  It is estimated that only 9% of the approximately 30 million flares out there flares are properly disposed of.

The good news is that there is now a solution with a Coast Guard compliant Sirius LED flare alternative from Marinebeam.  It, along with a daytime signal flag, make it 100% legal for night and day distress situations for all recreational craft.

This battery operated patented flare has a super-bright LED light, which signals S-O-S omni-directionally, as well as in a vertical beam that can be seen by aircraft overhead.

It also floats, and has the ability to be handheld, tethered, or raised in the rigging.   Perfect for MOB situations also.  It lasts hours rather than the typical minutes or seconds for a pyrotechnic flare.

We are glad we found this fantastic device, and its worth every penny to be safe and environmentally conscious at the same time.
