G4 LED Waterproof High Output Bulb

Our customers have been telling us for years that they wanted a high output waterproof LED bulb for certain marine applications.  The trouble was that LEDs like to breathe.  In fact, their life depends on being able to dissipate their heat.  While many think that LEDs don't make heat, they do, but it is 85% less heat than an incandescent bulb.

Dow Silicones recently began offering some amazing moldable silicones with fantastic thermal efficiency, which is what we are using on this bulb.  This silicone covering is not only optically very efficient, but it is also very thermally conductive, and can transfer the heat away from the LED dies.  This allows our waterproof G4 LED bulb to  run cooler and have a super-long life.

This 2.5 watt G4 replacement LED bulb features 32 2835-type surface mount LEDs, an integrated 10-30VDC constant-current driver, and a molded silicone shell.  Its waterproof design makes it great for boats and any outdoor applications.

It has a nice warm white color (2900-3000k), is UV protected, and will last more than 30,000 hours. 

It puts out more than 250 lumens, which means it competes with any 25W incandescent, while drawing more than 80% less power.
