Great light, great price
I ordered the masthead deck combo light after see a reference to it on the Cruisers Forum. The quality is excellent, installation was a breeze and the foredeck light is very bright. I say it is a true bargain

Good, but..
The construction of this light seems very good and initially it looked like a perfect direct match to the Aquasignal it was replacing, however the fit is not exactly the same. If it's fitting to a very curved mast you may find using the same holes (as an old Aquasignal) it sticks out off the mast a bit more and can rotate on the screws - a bit of rubber at the top and bottom of the light can fix this. The reason seems to be the space on the backside of the light is different than the Aquasignal. I'd still buy this light again - the issues are no different than any other retrofit on the boat. Haven't tried the light with the mast up yet. Marinebeam Editor: Geoff - We try to make it as simple of a conversion as possible but can't guarantee an exact match to all existing fixtures. As you mentioned, a small spacer tends to do the trick to keep the fixture from moving on the mast and gives you a bit more room to tidy up the wiring. Let us know how it performs once you get the mast up!

Not quite as robust as I'd hoped
The light is powerful, and easy to install. I've seen comments about the lack of strain relief for the wires, but that's easily solved. The light has a grid on the back: just cable tie the wires to the grid. Problem solved. Unfortunately, after 2 years of service, a crew parked a spinnaker halyard at the mast collar. We went sailing in 25 knots of wind. A couple of slaps from the halyard, and the side tabs shattered, leaving the light dangling from the wires. But, I liked the light, so I replaced it with another one. Now everyone knows not to park the halyard at the mast base.
