Click on picture at right to find your base type ->There are generally two types of bayonet bulbs found in
interior fixtures:
- Double Contact (BA15D)
- Single Contact (BA15S)
BA15D's are 15mm wide, and have two contacts on the bottom, and two side pins opposite one another. BA15D bulbs are also known in the marine industry as 90, 1004, 1076 and 1142 bulbs.
BA15S bulbs have a single contact on the bottom, and two side-pins opposite one another. BA15D's are also known sometimes as 89, 1141, or 1156 bulbs.
The original bulb's part numbers usually only refers to shape of glass, the wattage and voltage. For instance, the only difference between an 1142 and a 1076 is the wattage.
