Back Pin Mount Bi-Pin G4 LED Bulbs

Back Pin G4 LED bulbs are used in fixtures where the socket is centered in the center of the reflector or shade. An example would be in bell-shaped reading lights (shown at right), or in certain recessed overhead lamps, especially Cantalupi's.

WHICH TYPE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

In general, you should select a G4 LED bulb replacement bulb which has the LEDs facing the direction in which you want the light to throw. While your original incandescent bulb was certainly isotropic (omni-directional), our LED planar type bulbs (LEDs facing toward the surface to be illuminated) are much more efficient.

Our 4 and 6 LED bulbs match up well against 5W-10W halogens and xenons. If you really want a lot of light, or are trying to match up against a 15W or higher incandescent choose the 10-LED or 12-LED types.
