CREE LED Spreader Lamp Bulbs

These are drop-in LED replacements for 4.5" glass sealed-beam bulbs used in most spreader lamp, work lamps, and deck lamps. They have a 30° beam-angle and are meant to replace your existing sealed beam bulbs. They feature the newest 15W CREE MC-E 4-emitter LED, along with our constant-current chipset, for the absolute brightest output. At 750 Lumen output, they far exceed the output of traditional 35W or 55W incandescent sealed beams.

The picture above shows the sealed-beam bulb replacement installed in a Perko, Sea-Choice, Sea-Dog, Seldén, etc, style stainless spreader light.

These LED replacement lights fit lamps with Sealed Beam bulbs, including:

• Aqua Signal Series 41 foredeck/steaming light
• Perko Spreader Lights (shown at left)
• Seldén Spreader & Deck Lights
• Sea-Dog and other generic stainless spreader lights using the sealed beam 4.5" bulbs.

These replace all sealed-beam and halogen "tractor headlight" style 4-1/2" lamps (also known as PAR36, or GE 4411, 4350, and 4593 lamps). This includes deck lights from Perko, Aqua Signal, Seldén, Sea-Dog, etc.,with 4.5" housings, including the rubber and stainless housings. They are not for use as headlamps in on-highway vehicle applications.

It far exceeds the light output of a 35W 4.5" sealed beam incandescent, so it is designed to reach the deck from a mast spreader at a height of 10 to 50 feet above the surface. The 30° angle provides a bright spot of about 10 feet in diameter at 20 feet. At 10 feet above the deck the center spot illuminance is more than 220 Lux. It also draws less than half the power of the 35W incandescent.
